He wrote a book about his team and how they won back-to-back championships from 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. The book is called always ready.

The book is written around an unlikely transformation of a high-school girls' soccer team that started 0–10 and, two years later, became back-to-back state champions.

Coach Brandes didn't know the players, the other coaches, or how this experience would change his understanding of leadership.

Family, friends, and the team gathered to this special book signing about the story of champions that was inspired by the community.

"After we won the first championship, people started saying, this is, this is kind of cool, you know, to go from nothing to the top of the mountain. And this is a book. And so that was the inspiration. And then the timing just worked out where I was able to do it this year," said Sean Brandes.

"It's honestly so cool to see like a full circle moment with like him writing the book and being able to relive the story and seeing everyone here that I haven't seen freshman year, and it was just like a surreal experience," said Maeve Detchemendy.

"The book that you'll see in the book where it explains all that it's not just about soccer, it is, but it isn't just about what happens during that to culminate what we ended up with," said Andres Jarvis.

The book is currently a top seller.
