The Cheat Code Day Fortnite event starts at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET on August 24. The event will remain active for exactly 24 hours, giving players until Tuesday morning to take advantage of its boosted Sprite leveling, double Dust and enhanced Cheat Codes.

How Does Cheat Code Day Work in Fortnite?

Cheat Code Day is a special Fortnite event designed to make upgrading Sprites and earning Dust much easier. Sprites level up twice as fast throughout the event, allowing you to master characters more quickly by opening chests, surviving Storm circles and completing activities around the map.

Similar to Mastery Monday, players also earn twice as much Sprite Dust, which can be used to resummon characters they have previously collected. This is especially useful if you are trying to complete the new Fortnite Override Sprite collection or unlock new Loot Hacks. Despite its new name, Cheat Code Day appears to be the Chapter 7 Season 4 version of Mastery Monday.

How to Get the Free Gold Jonesy Sprite in Fortnite

To get the free Gold Jonesy Sprite, enter the Cheat Code JonesyIsGolden into the Admin Panel in Fortnite’s main menu. Once the Lobby Hack code has been successfully redeemed, you will receive the Gold Jonesy Sprite and 10,000 Sprite Dust.

  2. Open the Admin Panel from the main menu.
  3. Enter JonesyIsGolden into the Cheat Code box.

Gold Jonesy was previously available as a rare Sprite variant in Fortnite Override. However, the new Lobby Hack now gives every player an easy way to add the character to their collection without relying on random spawn rates.
