UPSC EPFO APFC Recruitment 2026: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the notification regarding Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) Recruitment 2026. This notification was published on August 21, 2026, inviting applications for 80 vacancies for the post of APFC.
Online registration will be opened from August 22, 2026, till September 11, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply via the online UPSC application portal at upsc.gov.in.

According to the notification, UPSC has announced 80 vacancies for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner. The category-wise breakup is as follows:
General: 29 posts
EWS: 8 posts
OBC: 18 posts
SC: 15 posts
ST: 10 posts
Three vacancies out of the total are reserved for candidates belonging to the PwBD categories, as per the applicable reservation provisions.
UPSC EPFO APFC Recruitment 2026: UPSC EPFO APFC eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the post must hold a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
A diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws or Public Administration is listed as a desirable qualification.
The maximum age limit is 35 years for General and EWS candidates, with the age calculated as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be available to eligible candidates belonging to reserved categories according to government rules. The notification does not prescribe a minimum age.

Candidates who are required to pay the examination fee will have to pay Rs 25.
However, SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
