Tom Izzo talks supporting Kirk Gibson, current roster at event

On Sunday, the 10th Annual Kirk Gibson Foundation Golf Classic took place in Rochester Hills, with the foundation aiming to fund programs to benefit those living with Parkinson's Disease and their families. Tom Izzo made an appearance, along with a ton of other local celebrities to support Gibson.

While at the event, Izzo talked with Brad Galli of WXYZ to discuss several different things. First, breaking down what it means for Izzo to be a supporter of the event, and being there to help fight alongside Gibson. After that, he dove into his team for this year, stating how much he loves the group he has.
“That’s the beauty of Kirk, he’s such a competitor. But it’s not on the field — it’s attacking Parkinson’s,” Izzo said. “It’s not a chore to be here, it’s an honor to be here.”
