· Yahoo Sports
The Seattle Seahawks could be getting a key piece of their secondary back sooner than later. On Tuesday morning, the Seahawks announced some fantastic news: safety Nick Emmanwori passed his physical! The second year star began training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list while he was recovering from an ankle surgery in July.

Emmanwori's injury has been one of the top stories from Seattle's training camp, and was even featured on the Seahawks' debut episode of Hard Knocks. It was a moment for head coach Mike Macdonald to shine as the leader of the team, as he gave Emmanwori key wisdom on how to deal with the hesitancy he was feeling about letting fans see him injured.
We at Seahawks Wire will continue to monitor Nick Emmanwori's health moving forward. Seattle's defense is a different machine entirely with a healthy Emmanwori on the field as Macdonald's most versatile chess piece.
