The 2026 Trade Deadline was the usual blend of chaos and surprises that we see most years. However, despite the fact that the Braves were busy on Monday like most teams, it was the move they did not make that will ultimately define their day and perhaps their season. A major hole remains in the starting rotation, and the solution must now be found internally. And despite the confidence Alex Anthopoulos may have that the solution will eventually be found, the path forward seems very risky to reach the ultimate goal of this season.
