· Yahoo Sports

The Arizona Cardinals had the second practice of their four-day block on Monday, returning to the field at State Farm practice for a full-speed practice in training camp. They had a few key players sitting out.

According to those present at practice, among those not practicing were receiver Michael Wilson, tackle Paris Johnson and safety Budda Baker.

Since head coach Mike LaFleur spoke with reporters before practice on Monday and didn't mention anything them then, and because he won't speak to the media on Tuesday (his coordinators will), we won't know for sure whether it was a rest day for them or if they are nusring some injury.

It is possible that, with the first preseason game coming on Thursday, that LaFleur wants to give extra reps to guys further down the depth chart before the game, as the starters won't likely play.

At receiver, Jalen Brooks and Simi Fehoko got reps with the first-team offense, and rookie seventh-round pick Jayden Williams got work at left tackle with the starters.

Because the Cardinals practice again on Tuesday, we will see if they are back on the field then.
