Miami Heat star center Bam Adebayo made big noise after naming his top five players during the 2026 NBA offseason.

Adebayo is gearing up for the 10th season of his career with the Heat. Next season will be big for him after seeing Miami land superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer.

Antetokounmpo is now on Miami’s roster after the Milwaukee Bucks traded him and Bobby Portis to the Heat. In exchange, they got Nate Ament, Tyler Herro, Kasparas Jakucionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, a 2030 1st round draft pick, a 2031 first-round draft pick, a 2033 first-round draft pick, and a 2033 second-round draft pick.

While everyone awaits training camp, Adebayo has been organizing basketball camps for the aspiring generation of future talents. He even answered a question regarding his five players of all time, shocking many by not naming LeBron James. Instead, he listed Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, and Tim Duncan.

What lies ahead for Bam Adebayo, Heat

Bam Adebayo and the Heat will look forward to big expectations throughout the 2026-27 season. This will certainly be the case after acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo, elevating the team’s championship aspirations.

Adebayo shined as the main leader of the Heat’s attack, playing in 73 games. He averaged 20.1 points, 10 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. He had shooting splits of 44.2% from the field, including 31.8% from beyond the arc, and 77.8% from the free-throw line.

Miami finished with a 43-39 record last season, finishing in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings. They missed the playoffs for the first time since 2017, losing to the Charlotte Hornets in the play-in tournament.

The Heat still have spots to fill following the Antetokounmpo trade. They added Tim Hardaway Jr., Ryan Conwell and Tre Donaldson to the squad, but could pull off a major addition in the coming weeks to complete their squad.
