It was tough being the "other" team in New York even before the Knicks became NBA champions. Now, the shadow hovering over the Brooklyn Nets is even larger.
That dichotomy was on full display in a viral video presumably from a New York event over the weekend where Michael Porter Jr. and Jalen Brunson showed up to the same venue at the same time. And one had to check in at the front... while the other bypassed the entire line.

Porter and his former Denver Nuggets teammate Peyton Watson arrived first. As they were checking in, Brunson and his wife pulled up, walked right by the NBA duo and straight through the door. To add to the dramatic scene, flash bulbs from the paparazzi started clicking at a much faster rate when Brunson showed up.
