The Gators have yet to name a starting quarterback, but whoever wins the job will have a strong, consistent group of pass catchers at their disposal in Buster Faulkner's offense.

With a new quarterback set to take over, the Gators rank No. 7 on CBS Sports' list of the nation's top pass-catching units. Let's take a look at how Florida's pass catchers stack up against the rest of the country on CBS Sports' recent list.
Returning to Florida's receiving corps is Vernell Brown III, who led the team in receiving last season with 40 receptions for 512 yards.
Florida did lose some production from last season, with J. Michael Sturdivant entering the NFL and Eugene Wilson III transferring to LSU. However, the Gators helped offset those losses with the addition of Eric Singleton Jr.
Singleton Jr. transfers in after playing one season with Auburn after playing the first two seasons of his career under Buster Faulkner at Georgia Tech. He had arguably his best season under Faulkner in 2024, catching 56 passes for 754 yards and three touchdowns.
The Gators will also feature Dallas Wilson, who recorded 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Florida's win over Texas before dealing with lingering lower-leg injuries.
At tight end, Luke Harping, the transfer from Georgia Tech, will get his opportunity to prove himself as the top tight end target for the Gators' offense.
