The San Francisco 49ers star has been silent on X for nearly four years, but recently returned following the Clark news. The sports media personality’s critical nature of Bosa over recent years certainly plays a role in the current NFL defensive end’s attitude.

Clark’s ESPN layoff has sparked significant divide between fans and other media members. However, it’s evident that Bosa isn’t too disappointed by the Worldwide Leader in Sports’ decision.

Former Fox Sports personality Emmanuel Acho quickly jumped on X to point out Bosa’s emoji use. Acho has been one of many outspoken on social media about Clark’s ESPN’s release.

“Nick Bosa’s first tweet in 4 years in co-signing Ryan Clark’s firing,” Acho stated Thursday. “I’ve never seen this many people celebrate a man’s demise in sports media. It’s sad.”

Clark’s beefing history with Bosa

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is sacked by San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa.

This marks Bosa’s first post on the platform in nearly four years. The 49ers star previously went after the NFL in 2022 for using artificial turf surfaces instead of natural grass.

“NFL says they care about player safety yet they can’t put us on a natural surface,” Bosa wrote on X.

Clark’s feud with Bosa became very public two years ago when the San Francisco star wore a pro-Donald Trump hat on the field. Meanwhile, that sparked a lengthy reaction from Clark suggesting that Bosa should “shut up and rush.”

“I’m just waiting for all the people who comment under political and sports things to shut up and dribble or to shut up and play football, to tell him (Nick Bosa) to shut up and rush,” Clark said on The Pivot in Oct. 2024.

However, Bosa’s drawn significant outrage from many NFL fans in the past for his connection with the U.S. president. The 49ers veteran is part of Trump’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, which features other current and former professional athletes.
