Mumbai City's kickboxers delivered an outstanding performance at the recently concluded All Maharashtra State Senior & Masters Kickboxing Championship 2026, held in Nanded. Representing the Sports Kickboxing Association Mumbai City, the athletes secured an impressive 14 medals, including 7 Gold, 3 Silver, and 4 Bronze, adding yet another golden chapter to Mumbai City's rich sporting legacy. The Mumbai City contingent was led with remarkable professionalism by International Referee and Coach Vighnesh Murkar, whose strategic leadership played a vital role in the team's success. Umesh Murkar, President of the Sports Kickboxing Association Mumbai City, continuously motivated, guided, and encouraged the athletes, making a significant contribution to this remarkable achievement. The coaching team comprising Aftab Khan, Alok Breed, and Syed Ahmed also played an instrumental role in preparing the athletes and ensuring their peak performance throughout the championship. Congratulating the team on their exceptional achievement, Mr. Nilesh Shelar, President of the Kickboxing Sports Association Maharashtra, applauded all the medal winners, coaches, President Umesh Murkar, Team Leader Vighnesh Murkar, and the entire Mumbai City contingent for their remarkable performance.
