Kay, a 6-foot-8 forward who helped lead the Crabbers to a Virginia state championship as a junior and a state runner-up finish during his senior season, has launched K5 Rejuvenation, a wellness and recovery spa designed to help local athletes prioritize recovery and overall health.
Kay's playing career ended after he suffered a lower leg injury before his senior season. Despite drawing interest from college programs, the injury prevented him from continuing his basketball career at the next level.
Rather than walking away from sports entirely, Kay turned his attention to helping other athletes stay healthy and recover from the physical demands of competition.
Through K5 Rejuvenation, Kay hopes to provide local athletes with access to advanced recovery treatments and wellness services aimed at improving performance, preventing injuries and supporting long-term health.
While his days on the court have come to an end, Kay said he remains committed to making an impact in the local sports community by helping the next generation of athletes pursue their goals.
