This is Free Form Friday, the closest we can come to a weekend tailgate thread in the absence of any college sporting events whatsoever. It’s the place to talk about anything or nothing at all, though as usual I have a little conversation starter to get you going if you choose. And it’s this: who is the greatest Georgia Bulldog quarterback of the 21st century?

It’s actually a mind-bogglingly difficult question depending on your criteria. Stetson Bennett is the only signal caller in program history to win two national titles. David Greene long held the college football record for victories as a starter. Aaron Murray remains the SEC’s most prolific passer. Matt Stafford was a top overall draft pick and is a surefire Pro Football Hall of Famer. Heck, Jake Fromm played for a national title as a true freshman, played in the NFL, and would be the best QB in history at many programs, and he’s probably no higher than 4th on his own alma mater’s list in the last 25 years.

Feel free to make the case for your Bulldog of choice. I’ll chime in with my own answer shortly.

Go ‘Dawgs!!!
