That’s the reality for the Reio family, who, after uncovering remains are now caught in a web of costly archaeological digs that could wipe out their retirement savings and leave them legally trapped with no way out. The process began with an order from the Registrar of Burials compelling the Reios to conduct an archeological investigation.
