As Reuter went through and put this mock together, he had one goal in mind for each team -- win now, which underscores the important roles that each of these players will have this upcoming season for the Jaguars.
1.10: QB Trevor Lawrence (Bengals)
Lawrence was an MVP finalist in his first season under Liam Coen. He finished the 2025 season completing 61% of his passes for 4,214 yards with 41 total touchdowns -- including 32 passing -- to 14 interceptions. Among all quarterbacks, he ranked seventh in passing yards and fourth in passing touchdowns. The Jaguars had one of the most productive offenses in football during the second half of the season.
5.139: DE Travon Walker (Dolphins)
Walker has continued to ascend during his NFL career and has provided a very steady and productive pass-rush presence. During the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he logged double-digit sacks each season and ranked in the top-25 among edge rushers in quarterback pressures each year. To go along with his pass-rush production, Walker brings a well-rounded skill set to the defensive end position, making a big impact against the run -- he ranked tied for ninth in PFF's run-stop rate in 2025 -- along with bringing versatility as well.
5.151: DE Josh Hines-Allen (Eagles)
Hines-Allen finished the 2025 regular season with 95 quarterback pressures, the second-most among all defensive ends. Not surprisingly, he won his matchups at a high rate, ranking seventh in PFF's pass rush win rate metric.
6.170: WR Brian Thomas Jr. (Eagles)
Thomas Jr.'s production took a step back last season, but he was one of the Jaguars' most impressive players during offseason programs. His chemistry with Lawrence appears to be much improved, and we will continue to see Thomas Jr. utilized often on downfield passes.
6.180: WR/CB Travis Hunter (Falcons)
The expectation is that Hunter is going to see a lot more opportunities on defense this season, starting opposite of Montaric Brown. However, James Gladstone and Liam Coen have made it quite clear that he will still continue to see regular snaps on offense as well. Now, what exactly this workload looks like remains to be seen.
7.214: S Antonio Johnson (Chargers)
As the 2025 season progressed, Johnson's role expanded. He graded out well as a run defender by PFF's metrics, held pass catchers to under 10 yards per reception this season, and came away with five interceptions and three pass breakups. Johnson also adds ample versatility to the secondary as well. Last season, Johnson played 206 snaps last season lined up in the box, 306 at deep safety, 98 from the slot, and 29 along the defensive line, per PFF.
7.216: WR Jakobi Meyers (Jaguars)
The addition of Meyers mid-season was a game changer for the offense. He added stability at wideout and opened up the playbook with his ability to attack the middle of the field.
