Aston Villa want £130m for Arsenal target Morgan Rogers
· Yahoo Sports
Aston Villa value Arsenal target Morgan Rogers at a British record £130 million, according to The Telegraph. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants the Villa star to swap the Midlands club for the Emirates Stadium club this summer as the Gunners prepare for next season. However, a deal could prove tricky as the Villans want at least £130m if they ever consider selling the England international. The North London club will face competition from Chelsea for Rogers, but Unai Emery is unwilling to lose Rogers.
Suitors will have to break the bank to sign the 23-year-old, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal have plans to splash the cash on another forward. Manchester City have agreed a £116m deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, and Villa believe their attacker is more valuable. Liverpool striker Alexander Isak currently holds the British record for the most expensive signing after the Reds paid Newcastle United £125m for the services of the Swede last summer.
