Second straight Super Bowl best-case scenario for Seahawks in 2026

The Seattle Seahawks are expected to have a successful season yet again in 2026, but there is a best way for their year to go, and that does not entail enjoying less success than they did in 2025.

According to CBS Sports’ John Breech, the best-case scenario for the Seahawks next season will be to remain the standard-setters of the league with a second-consecutive Vince Lombardi Trophy won at season’s end.

”The key pillars of what made Seattle champions last season are still intact, so this franchise still has the ceiling to win it all,” Breech said. “The Seahawks even found solid replacements where needed, including in the backfield, where they drafted Jadarian Price in the first round after Kenneth Walker III left in free agency. Seattle remains the class of the NFL, earning the No. 1 seed and again being the last team standing.”

Despite the losses that the Seahawks dealt with in free agency, watching Boye Mafe, Coby Bryant and Tariq Woolen depart for other teams, the Seahawks still have the talent to earn the best record in the league and win back-to-back Super Bowls next season.

Seattle will be greatly challenged by the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in their own division, as two other threats to win the NFC West in 2026 and take home the Lombardi Trophy. Not only so, but the Seahawks will have to potentially fend off elite teams in the AFC such as the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs or New England Patriots. Nevertheless, despite the stiff competition in the league, Seattle has enough talent to get the better of their opponents and come out on top once more next season.
