Patriots Year 2 star viewed as must-have in fantasy dynasty leagues

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is expected to help the team contend for a Super Bowl in 2026 with steady play in the ground game, but will he also be an attractive option for fantasy football owners in dynasty leagues?

According to ESPN’s Eric Moody, Henderson is a player worth the price to trade for in dynasty leagues this year as he approaches his age 24-season in the NFL.

”The flashes Henderson showed last season, even with Rhamondre Stevenson still involved, were real,” Moody said. “Henderson stockpiled 1,132 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns, averaged 5.1 yards per carry and had three games with 28-plus fantasy points. Stevenson will have a role, but his fumbling issues could create an opening for Henderson to push for more work.”

Henderson has the makings to be a volume rusher in the league, with a combination of speed, power and the ability to break free into the open field that will enable him to produce several 1,000-yard rushing seasons in the near future with the right amount of carries.

He recorded 911 rushing yards in 2025. If Stevenson is moved in the coming years, Henderson may be in line to greatly exceed the 206.2 fantasy points he earned in dynasty PPR leagues last season and the 171.2 he earned in non-PPR leagues.
