On Tuesday, June 9, the Bengals announced they have signed second-round pick Cashius Howell.
Howell was the team's first pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after giving up their first-round pick to acquire defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence from the New York Giants.
Howell and third-round pick Tacario Davis both participated in rookie minicamp last month without signing rookie deals. Davis eventually signed on May 13.
Last season, Howell recorded 11.5 sacks for Texas A&M and earned All-American honors. He was also named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Defensive Player of the Year.
