The Florida State Seminoles have four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro and three-star defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr. as their two commitments in the trenches for the 2027 recruiting cycle. Three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis is another key target for the program.

Over the last few months, FSU has received multiple predictions to land Lewis, with the latest coming last Friday. It was key for them to put their best foot forward on his official visit, and the Seminoles did just that.

"what a great OV experience at FLORIDA STATE 🍢 !!! GO NOLES !!!!!!," Lewis said as he posted photos from his Instagram page.

Lewis has two more official visits locked in as he'll travel to see the Syracuse Orange on June 12 and the Kentucky Wildcats on June 19. So, Florida State's work is certainly not done yet when it comes to Lewis as his July 10 commitment date approaches.

For Florida State, they have picked up three commitments in less than a month, which has been much-needed as they look to bolster a 2027 class that is currently ranked in the high 30's. Lewis would be another key addition for the Seminoles, and it would be an impressive one considering they didn't offer him until February.

247Sports has Lewis deemed as the nation's No. 612 player and the No. 74 defensive lineman. In terms of prospects in the state of Florida, he's ranked No. 51 overall.
