· Yahoo Sports
Following an extra-innings loss to UCLA in the Big Ten tournament championship game, the Oregon baseball team was selected as one of 16 teams to host an NCAA regional starting May 29 at PK Park in Eugene. The Ducks (40-16, 20-10 Big Ten) will learn which teams they will host and the full NCAA bracket during the selection show starting at 9 a.m. Monday on ESPN.

It's the second straight year the Ducks will host a regional and the first time since 2012-13 that UO has accomplished that feat. Oregon has never hosted a regional three years in a row.
The Ducks did not make it out of the Eugene Regional a year ago, falling to Utah Valley then Cal Poly to end their season after winning the Big Ten regular-season title.
Oregon did not win the regular season in the Big Ten this season but finished third and made a run to the Big Ten title game with wins over Washington and Nebraska before falling to UCLA.
