The Cleveland Cavaliers are in familiar territory, as they are down 2-0 against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals. They experienced the same thing in their previous series against the Detroit Pistons.

Of course, the Cavs ended up winning that series in seven games, which is proof that they can withstand adversity. Now that they are headed back to Cleveland to play Games 3 and 4, Donovan Mitchell is confident his team can bounce back.

Mitchell had a good performance in Game 2, scoring 26 points. He tied Josh Hart for the game-high in points, but the Cavs did not have as much help as Hart had on the Knicks.

It is unfortunate for the Cavaliers because they have a talented roster. However, they are not making the most out of their talent, especially Evan Mobley, who did not even have a single field goal attempt in the second half.

Now that the series is headed to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4, it is time for the Cavs to step up. This is their comfort zone, as they have only lost one game at home throughout this postseason run.

"We just didn’t make shots. I love everything about the looks that we got. Some days, you just miss the open ones... Offensively, I’m not worried at all. Nothing to hang our heads about," Mitchell said after the Game 2 loss in New York.

"They protected home court. We’ve seen this before, so we gotta get Game 3. We’re not tired, we’re ready to go... This isn’t our first time at it. It’s not our first time facing adversity. We’ve been to two Game 7s."

Mitchell is not budging under the pressure, which is a good sign. A superstar like him being a leader is a positive for the Cavaliers, especially since a lot of his teammates are struggling in the Eastern Conference Finals so far.
