Is there a better place for the Colorado Buffaloes to find the next star freshman, like Isaiah Johnson, than going back to Southern California?

That's at least what Buffs fans should be hoping for after 6-foot-3 guard Amir Jones from Los Angeles, California, announced his commitment to Colorado on Thursday. The Harvard-Westlake High School product flipped from Georgia State to Colorado after decommitting from the Panthers in late March.
Jones has seen immense success at Harvard-Westlake High School and excels at shooting from beyond the arc. In his senior season, Jones averaged 12 points, five rebounds and four assists per game, according to the Los Angeles Daily News, which named him to its All-Area Boys Team last year.
Jones will get to learn from a great scorer in Buff's guard Barrington Hargress and could become a key rotational piece if his 3-point shooting remains consistent. Jones is the sixth high schooler to sign with Colorado this offseason, which will more than likely leave the Buffs as one of the youngest rosters in the Big 12 Conference for the second year in a row.
