Shots have been fired across the bow by the Los Angeles Chargers in their 2026 schedule release video.

In their Halo-inspired video, they featured Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix's "overdogs" interview against the Green Bay Packers, then their Halo character shot at Nix's ankle, sending him over a cliff. The voiceover says "Bo-verkill" as Nix's character tumbles into a ravine. A "Bo Nix has left the game" line appeared before their second matchup is portrayed.
After that, a Jarrett Stidham character appears and stares at a penguin before the Chargers' character takes down Stidham's character as well. Here's the clip featuring Denver's quarterbacks:

The Chargers are the most snake-bitten team in the AFC West trying to make fun of Bo Nix's ankle injury.😂 😂

It gives "throwing stones from a glass house."
That's okay. I've held more Lombardi trophies than any Charger has

The Chargers weren't the only team to troll their AFC West rivals. In their own schedule release video, the Broncos spoofed a Chris Hansen “To Catch a Bandwagon Fan” show featuring a Kansas City Chiefs fan:

All in good fun?
