There were plenty of tremendous performances last week in the Central Mass. boys' lacrosse season, and Jim Wilson found some of the best of them for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Boys' Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Grafton's Greyson Rynkowski, for taking the top spot in last week's poll, notching 175 votes to get past St. John's Evan Lind (58 votes) and St. Bernard's Tyler McGeary (49 votes) for the honor.

These picks were selected from performances reported by area coaches to the Hometeam Scoreboard. Coaches or administrators are encouraged to report game results and highlights each night by calling the T&G sports desk at 508-793-9350 or emailing [email protected].

Collin Allain, Monty Tech

Allain had six goals as the Bulldogs downed Assabet, 13-8.

Niko Andrews, AMSA

Andrews had a big week for the Eagles, recording 10 goals and three assists as AMSA defeated Tantasqua (10-9 in OT), Nipmuc (8-7) and Shepherd Hill (10-2).

Tyler Barranco, Shrewsbury

Barranco had two goals as the Colonials fell, 6-4, to Nashoba.

George Bell, Tyngsborough

Bell had two goals in a 8-3 loss to Shepherd Hill, a 16-6 loss to Littleton, and a 16-0 win over Lowell Catholic.

Quin Buckley, Oakmont

Buckley had three goals and three assists to earn his 200th career point and propel the Spartans to a 14-5 win over North Middlesex.

James Connors, Leominster

Connors deposited the winner with 26 seconds left as the Blue Devils topped Groton-Dunstable, 6-5.

Sam Faber, Auburn

Faber had four goals and one assist as the Rockets fell to St. Bernard's, 12-11.

Max Gaudette, Hudson

Gaudette's big week included a six-goal performance in a 12-4 win over Valley Tech as he finished with 12 goals and one assist for the Hawks in a 2-1 run against Bay Path (17-4 win) and Lunenburg (8-6 loss).

Dan Greaney, Wachusett

Greaney surged for five goals in a 17-11 win over Grafton.

Troy Greaney, Wachusett

Greaney went off for 10 goals in a 18-6 wn over Algonquin, and had a hat trick in a 17-11 win over Grafton.

Austin Hegarty, Littleton

Hegarty had four goals and three assists to send the Tigers to a 16-6 win over Tyngsborough and also notched three goals and two assists in a 16-3 rout of Bay Path.

Beckett Heidenthal, Grafton

Heidenthal had a hat trick, but the Gators fell, 17-11, to Wachusett.

Will Lake, St. John's

Lake tallied twice, with his second goal coming in triple overtime to lift the Pioneers to a 9-8 win over Xaverian.

Luke Lewis, Hudson

Lewis had three goals and one assist as the Hawks were defeated for the first time all season, falling to Lunenburg, 8-6.

Evan Lind, St. John's

Lind had a pair of goals as the Pioneers dropped a 13-4 decision to Longmeadow.

Chace Lozano, AMSA

Lozano scored five goals, including the winner in overtime, to lead the Eagles to a 10-9 win over Tantasqua.

Keegan MacLean, Nashoba

MacLean scored five goals and added two assists to key a 15-9 win over Algonquin and put in a pair of goals in a 6-4 win over Shrewsbury.

Tyler McGeary, St. Bernard's

McGeary finished with 12 goals and two assists as the Bernardians finished a 3-0 week with wins over Worcester (16-1), Assabet (12-3) and Auburn (12-11).

Chase O'Connell, Valley Tech

O'Connell had four goals and two assists to send the Beavers past Auburn, 11-7.

A.J. Parrette, Bancroft

Parrette had four goals as the Bulldogs fell to Williams, 15-7.

Ben Peshler, Valley Tech

Peshler had a pair of hat tricks to fuel wins over Nipmuc (7-5) and Auburn (11-7).

Brady Sacca, Assabet

Sacca had four goals in a 13-5 win over Minutemen and added two goals in a 12-3 loss to St. Bernard's.

Jonathan Solari, Tantasqua

Solari had three goals and two assists as the Warriors fell to AMSA, 10-9, in overtime.

Dan Wren, Algonquin

Wren had three goals and an assist as the Titans were defeated, 15-9, by Nashoba.

Josh West, Littleton

West piled up the points in a 16-3 win over Bay Path, notching four goals and five assists, and also adding three goals and three assists in a 16-6 win over Tyngsborough.
