Voters for Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week are heating up with the warmer weather.
After Luke Dulecki of New Boston Huron hit the best vote total of the spring to win the April 13-19 poll with 12,671, Bedford’s Iva Ravindra bested that for April 20-26 with 15,590.

Both are track and field athletes.
Ravindra needed a pile of votes to win.
She had a strong challenge from Owen DeLano of New Boston Huron’s baseball team, who had his name clicked 11,208 times.
The next closest candidate finished with 329 votes.

Cecelia Aulph, Monroe softball: Threw a pair of shutouts in a doubleheader sweep of Westland John Glenn.
Zamir Austin, Monroe boys track and field: Won high jump and long jump, named Boys Most Valuable Track Athlete at Mason Invitational.
Brock Cousino, SMCC baseball: Delivered a walk-off hit against Monroe in the seventh inning.
Camryn Cousino, Jefferson-Erie Mason soccer: Collected four goals and an assist in a win over Taylor.
Julia Dyson, Airport softball: Tossed a 3-hit shutout with 16 strikeouts against No. 1 Saline.
Max Flint, SMCC boys lacrosse: Scored all five goals for his team Monday, then found the back of the net seven times Wednesday.
Vince Harris, SMCC boys track and field: Named Boys Most Valuable Athlete at Mason Invitational.
Hunter Hemelgarn, Ida baseball: Recorded a no-hitter in a victory over Adrian Madison.
Addie Homrich, Erie Mason softball: Went 4-for-4, drove in three runs, stole five bases and earned the pitching win against Adrian.
Julia Hughes, Ida girls track and field: Won both girls hurdle races as Mason Invitational.
Adela Illes, SMCC girls track and field: Named Girls Most Valuable Track Athlete at Mason Invitational.
Reece Kalb, Summerfield baseball: Struck out 11 and drove in the winning run to beat Lenawee Christian 3-2.
Madison Kuzara, New Boston Huron softball: Tripled and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning and earned a pitching win against Flat Rock.
Hunter Massingill, Whiteford boys golf: Earned medalist honors to lead Bobcats to victory in Tri-County Conference jamboree.
Cash Moczydlowsky, New Boston Huron baseball: Fired a no-hitter against Milan.
Lincoln Murbach, boys boys track and field: Swept hurdles at Mason Invitational and set school record in the highs.
Giuliana Nastale, Erie Mason girls track and field: Named Girls Most Valuable Athlete at Mason Invitational after winning 100, 200 and 400 meters.
Olivia Piepsney, SMCC softball: Tossed a 2-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts, went 2-for-2 and started the winning rally in a 1-0 win over New Boston Huron.
Devin Rhoades, Ida boys golf: Eagled the final hole to wrap up medalist honors in an LCAA jamboree, leading his team to first place.
Ryan Thomas, Whiteford boys track and field: Swept the hurdles and ruled the high jump as the Bobcats beat three Tri-County Conference foes.
Lilly Vidra, Bedford softball: Drove in 10 runs while going 7-for-8 with two doubles and a triple during a sweep of Ida.
