The whole world is watching Bayern Munich and with good reason.

Bayern have been nothing short of otherworldly this season. Armed with an incredibly talented squad and a manager whose approach has taken the club to new heights, Bayern have been unstoppable. Particularly in Europe, Bayern have made heads turn with their performances against Atalanta and Real Madrid. The first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal against Paris Saint-Germain featured a Bayern side who could have easily won the game had the circumstances been slightly different. Therefore, Bayern welcome PSG into Munich mid-week with one singular intention — making it to the final.

Bayern may have faced a minor setback in their 3-3 draw to FC Heidenheim, but their spirits remain high. The players assured the fans of the same after the game. Man of the match Leon Goretzka in a postgame interview said that Bayern were looking forward to facing PSG. “You can see how fired up everyone is for Wednesday. We’re looking forward to the game and we want to reach the final,” he stated, per DAZN Deutschland (as transcribed by @iMiaSanMia.)

Jonas Urbig added to Goretzka’s statement. “We’ve already seen against Real Madrid how the fans pushed the team from the first until the last minute. I’m confident that the Allianz Arena will be on fire on Wednesday,” the keeper declared.

Should Bayern worry after the Heidenheim draw? Or are the high spirits enough? Let us know.
