Year-two for Harold Fannin, Quinshon Judkins, and Dylan Sampson is exciting, but their two rookies in the WR are especially exciting. While Denzel Boston is intriguing, the most interesting player is KC Concepcion. He could be a great pickup for Cleveland.
ESPN's Ben Solak noted that he would be all-in on Concepcion, that is, if it weren't for one clear issue: the quarterback room.
QB play will likely hold KC Concepcion back in 2026
"Concepcion has high volume potential as a slot receiver and high explosive potential as a serious YAC athlete with tackle-breaking ability," Solak writes. "I would be all-in were it not for my fears that the QB play will be debilitatingly poor."
After the 2026 NFL Draft, with Concepcion and Boston as the headliners, the Browns' skill group isn't in a bad spot at all. It could be better, but there are some fun names in this offense.
The biggest issue for this team is the quarterback position. Deshaun Watson has seemingly become the frontrunner for the starting job, while Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel are far from ideal options either.

None of the Browns' quarterbacks are great starter, and even with a solid offensive supporting cast, there are plenty of questions about the Browns' offense in 2026 due to expected very questionable QB play.
Solak want's to believe in Concepcion, as his big-play ability as a yards-after-the-catch option and high-volume target could make him a challenger for the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.
But the quarterback situation simply isn't good enough for Solak to believe Concepcion is anything other than a long shot for the award. He believes in Concepcion, but not the QB play.
