On Saturday they may have landed their cornerstone piece to the 2027 class as East St. Louis (IL) four-star running back Myson Johnson-Cook announced his commitment to the Tigers.

Johnson-Cook chose Auburn over Kentucky, LSU, Miami and Ole Mis. Last season he carried the ball 126 times for 1,341 yards and 20 touchdowns averaging 10.6 yards a carry.

According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-2, 235-pounder is ranked as the No. 74 player in the country, the No. 4 running back prospect and No. 3 player out of Illinois.
