Germany: 11 injured in clash at gurdwara

Eleven persons were injured in a clash at a gurdwara in Germany on Sunday, India Today reported.

More than 40 persons were involved in the altercation in Moers town, ANI reported. The incident led the police to intervene, German newspaper Neue Ruhr Zeitung reported.
The clash reportedly took place following disagreements about the management and financial affairs of the gurdwara. The dispute involves the election of a new board to manage the place of worship and the administration of community assets.
Videos of the incident widely shared on social media showed persons using kirpans to attack others.
Several persons fled the site as the clash began. About 300 to 400 persons were at the gurdwara for a gathering, Neue Ruhr Zeitung reported.
