For the first time The Tennessean will honor one Sports Mom of the Year with a feature story that will publish on Mother's Day, May 10.
Nominations for this honor are now being accepted. To make a nomination, submit the mother’s name and an explanation of why she is worthy of being named “Sports Mom of the Year” by April 27.

When is Mother's Day 2026?
Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday every May. This year, that falls on May 10.
