When people think of Duke’s great buzzer beaters, Christian Laettner’s name generally comes up first. His shot against Kentucky is legendary, and his earlier buzzer beater against UConn was also tremendous.

However, when it comes to Duke’s buzzer beaters, that’s just the tip of the iceberg, because Duke has plenty of buzzer beaters.

Like Laettner, Chris Duhon has two of his own, but there are so many more.

Remember Nate James shivving Maryland in the ACC Tournament? That was a great one. And then there’s Jeff Capel’s running three to put a game against UNC in overtime.

Then there’s Austin Rivers gunning down the Tar Heels in the Dean Dome, and then eight years later, Tre Jones and Wendell Moore taking their turn in the sunshine.

Then there’s one of the greatest of all: Sean Dockery’s shocking three against Virginia Tech. In that game, it looked like Duke was dead. Then Dockery got the ball, launched a very long three, which swished, which drove the Cameron Crazies into a frenzy.

Anyway, this should be something fun to watch on a Saturday.

Or Sunday…or Monday.

Or any day, really.
