Georgia football's returning players with new jersey numbers
· Yahoo Sports
Over 10 returning Georgia Bulldogs football players have changed jersey numbers this offseason. Georgia fans will have a bit of trouble knowing who's who for Saturday's 1 p.m. ET spring game in Sanford Stadium (televised on ESPN+ and SEC Network+).

Georgia's most notable players that are sporting new numbers include running back Chauncey Bowers (now No. 5), edge Quintavius Johnson (now No. 3), defensive backs Demello Jones (No. 8) and Rasean Dinkins (No. 14) along with offensive guard Dontrell Glover (No. 58). All five of these players held starting roles at some point during the 2025 campaign and will be key pieces for Georgia in 2026.
It will take some time to adjust to all of Georgia's new faces in new places. Beyond returning players, the Bulldogs signed 31 recruits including 28 early enrollees. Georgia also added nine transfers, who are ready to make an immediate impact this fall.
Georgia fans should anticipate the spring game being pass-heavy and quick. G-Day spring games usually last around two hours and spread reps out to tons of different players.
