Cincinnati Bearcats pick up post Riley Allenspach from George Mason

The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team has added some size from the transfer portal with the addition of 6-foot-11, 247-pound Riley Allenspach from George Mason. Sam Kayser with League Ready first reported the move April 13.

Allenspach averaged 13.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for George Mason in the Atlantic 10 last season after previously playing two seasons at Samford. He shot 56.6% from the field, 31.3% on 3-pointers and 68% from the free throw line. His best game was 26 points and eight rebounds vs. Old Dominion.

Allenspach had four double-doubles for the Patriots and was one rebound away from the feat in two other games. From Charlotte, he played four seasons at Providence Day School, where ESPN ranked him as the No. 8 player in North Carolina as a senior and 247Sports had him at No. 7.
