Nembhard's injury is listed as back, thoracic and lumbar injury management and McConnell's is bilateral hamstring injury management. Third-year wings Jarace Walker and Ben Sheppard are listed as questionable, Walker with a sacral contusion and Sheppard with right hip sprain. Walker missed the last two games with what was listed as a low back bruise, so he has been upgraded.

Cavs center Jarrett Allen (right knee injury management), forward Evan Mobley (left calf injury management), guard Sam Merrill (left hamstring injury management) and forwards Dean Wade (right ankle sprain) and Jaylon Tyson (left great toe bone bruise) have also been ruled out for the game.

Siakam has scored in double figures in all 62 of his games this season and leads the Pacers with 24.0 points per game. His 6.6 rebounds per game are also the most among Pacers players with at least 20 appearances, his 3.8 assists per game are third on the team behind only point guards Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell and his 1.1 steals per game are most among players with at least 20 appearances. He's shooting 48.4% from the floor and 35.8% from 3-point range.

With Siakam, Nembhard and Nesmith ruled out, the Pacers will be missing their top three scorers in terms of average among players who have appeared in at least 30 games. Walker ranks fourth on that list. Siakam, Nembhard, Nesmith and McConnell are four of the team's top six scorers in terms of total points. Walker ranks third.
