Pat McAfee might be ESPN's hottest commodity right now. The multi-talented host of both College GameDay and his own self-titled show on the network has risen to new heights. But don't expect him to be at one of the biggest events in sports.

During Wednesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, he explained why the Masters has banned him from broadcasting in Augusta each of the past three years. He applauded Jason Kelce for getting his opportunity to be part of the PGA event. But McAfee also spoke his mind about getting shut out.

“We have attempted to be a part of the Wednesday coverage of the Masters at the Par 3 thing for three consecutive years now,” McAfee said.

“They’ve told us to go to hell. So I think you should be happy about that, that they do try to preserve it as a whole. They have a certain thing that they are looking for. So I think Jason Kelce, who’s a dog, who’s funny, who’s relatable, and is a good athlete, and he’s probably friends with a lot of these guys that are going to be golfing there."

McAfee went on to say, "To the people that are upset, saying that the Masters are the only thing you got left, know that they’ve turned us down very loudly numerous times.”

Whether the tone will change for McAfee remains to be seen. With April being a big month for sports, he'll have several other events to be focused on, like the NFL Draft at the end of the month.
