It's never easy for fans to see a long-tenured player leave for a new team.

That's particularly true if you're the Cleveland Browns and the player leaves for the Baltimore Ravens.
David Njoku has the chance to do that in free agency, though.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday that Njoku is visiting the Ravens, which is the kind of news that could potentially lead to a contract.
He was the No. 29 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and played nine seasons with the Browns. That includes one Pro Bowl selection.
All told, Njoku made 384 catches for 4,062 yards and 34 touchdowns in his Browns tenure.
He became a bit less important in 2025 due to the emergence of rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr., and it certainly appears the Browns don't intend to bring Njoku back.
That means he'll now try to find the best option to keep his career rolling, and maybe he sees opportunity in Baltimore.

The Ravens run a lot of action with multiple tight ends on the field, and the only one of their top-three TEs from a season ago who is back is Mark Andrews.
Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar have both departed in free agency, creating an opening for a player to join Andrews in helping the Lamar Jackson-led offense.
Going to Baltimore would also give Njoku two chances per season to play against the Browns. If he's feeling vengeful, maybe that's appealing.
It remains to be seen whether this will actually be Njoku's destination, but it certainly seems like he's closing in on leaving Cleveland for good.
