O'Malley (19-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) aims to turn a standalone win into a streak. Following back-to-back title losses to Merab Dvalishvili, O'Malley returned in January and defeated Song Yadong by unanimous decision. Despite being 1-2 in his most recent three, O'Malley remains one of the promotion's most mainstream names.

Zahabi (14-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) has been a member of the organization since 2017. While has not very active and hit some bumps in the road in his first few years in the UFC, Zahabi has since climbed into significant divisional standing entering a massive opportunity on a seven-fight winning streak.

Full UFC Freedom 250 lineup includes:

  • Ciryl Gane vs. Alex Pereira – for interim heavyweight title
  • Sean O'Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi
