GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — It was another busy night across eastern North Carolina, as high school girls basketball playoffs continued with second round action.

Top seeded Kinston cruised to a 60-12 win, getting their twenty-second win of the season. They’ll host 8-seed Wallace-Rose Hill on Feb. 28.
5-seed Greene Central converted a couple late free-throws to secure a 50-47 win against Martin County. The Rams will be on the road at 4-seed Northwood in the third round.
South Central were in control the whole game against Knightdale, winning 72-39. The 4-seed Falcons will play host to 5-seed Overhills on Feb. 28.
3-seed Croatan won in a low-scoring contest against Montgomery Central, 48-28. The Cougars host 6-seed Rockingham County in the next round.
6-seed Northside won against the visiting Cape Hatteras, 52-42. They’ll be on the road to Vance Charter on Feb. 28 for the next round.
